We think you’ll find plenty of food for thought in our second issue of EAP Comment.

Our feature article examines the reasoning of Dennis Avery, one of today’s most prominent critics of the sustainable agriculture movement — and finds that reasoning wanting.

We also take a hard look at the implications of the ever-increasing presence of hormone disrupting chemicals in the environment. This is a truly troubling issue — with implications far beyond the realm of agriculture.

Our Web site is now fully functional. All members can browse part of the site, and full and sustaining members receive access to the entire `Virtual Library'. We continue to add material to the site, and hope to find funding over the summer to enhance the on-line collection.
Visiting office hours during the summer will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 to 5. Other services will be available as usual.
